About Us

Motueka is a normal sized town, not too big and not too small, having everything you need to keep your life going. We get great weather and have awesome beaches. The Abel Tasman walk is very popular. Many tourists come to admire what we have.
Parklands School is a great school. We have lots of fun things that other schools don't have, such as MoTEC.

Laura Ingram academic award.

Some year 8 students choose to do Laura Ingram exams. We have to meet once a week to study at school and most of us study at least an hour at home. On the 24-28 we have to sit exams and the person who gets the highest marks wins $200. A There are other prizes for good study. We have 12 different exams over a whole week.
